GrowCo Expands Ability to Serve Entrepreneurs with New Marketing Teammate

Madeline Alberse-Jones appointed as new marketing and communications coordinator


GrowCo has appointed Madeline Alberse-Jones as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator for GrowCo & the Boyd Community Innovation Center effective March 1, 2023.

Alberse-Jones will be reimagining the future GrowCo brand and image as the organization continues to evolve with new leadership and investment from the Boyd Foundation. She will be integral to building the community of high growth/high tech founders GrowCo serves and to connecting with founders to share the Boyd Community Innovation Center’s story with our audience of entrepreneurs and startup enthusiasts in the Midlands.

With almost 6 years of graphic design experience, Alberse-Jones has a deep background in studio art, photography, videography, and social media marketing. She also has worked as a freelance graphic designer and photographer for several local companies in Columbia.

Alberse-Jones is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor's degree in visual communications. As a Columbia, S.C. native, she is well-versed in the experiences and sense of community Columbia has to offer. 

“Maddie’s past experiences embody the startup mentality that GrowCo needs, and her love for her hometown of Columbia radiates,” says Caroline Crowder, Executive Director of GrowCo. “She brings a fresh perspective and many years of marketing experience to the organization, and I’m thrilled to welcome her to the team.”
